What to expect
Spyro: A Realm Beyond is Toys for Bob's first project as an independent studio — and a full-blown new mainline Spyro game, the first since the 1999 era. Announced at the Xbox Games Showcase 2026, it launches Spring 2027.
When Spyro finds himself stranded in a strange new world, his journey home is interrupted by the arrival of the Scavs — a vicious invading force threatening the realm. Spyro must rally fresh allies, master full free-flight for the first time in the series, and rise to defend his new home.
Tom Kenny returns as the voice of Spyro, joined by a redesigned, modernised purple dragon and a freshly imagined world built specifically to take advantage of true 3D flight.
