What to expect
Phantom Blade Zero is S-Game's ambitious new action RPG — a dark, stylish take on Chinese wuxia built in Unreal Engine 5. First unveiled at the PlayStation Showcase in 2023, it casts players as Soul, an elite assassin poisoned and left with only 66 days to live.
The combat blends blistering martial-arts choreography with a weapon-wheel system that lets you swap between swords, claws, axes and more mid-combo. Expect challenging, soulslike encounters, exaggerated aerial duels and a rain-soaked, ink-wash world dripping with betrayal and mystery.
After a 50-day delay from its original September date, Phantom Blade Zero launches on 29 October 2026 for PS5 and PC.
