What to expect
Kingdom Hearts IV is the next mainline entry in Square Enix's beloved action-RPG saga, first revealed in April 2022 alongside the 'Master of Masters' arc tease. The game shifts Sora into the mysterious world of Quadratum — a modern, Tokyo-like reality where dreams and reality blur.
Built in Unreal Engine 5, Kingdom Hearts IV promises the most cinematic and fluid combat the series has ever seen, with refined Keyblade transformations, aerial traversal through urban environments, and the return of Disney worlds alongside new Square Enix collaborations.
No release date has been announced, but the game remains one of the most anticipated RPGs on the horizon for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
