What to expect
Santa Monica Studio teases the next chapter of God of War with Laufey — the Jötunn mother of Loki — at its centre. Early hints point to a story set before, between, or alongside the Norse saga, exploring the giants' side of the war with the Aesir.
Currently slated for 16 February 2027, God of War: Laufey promises the studio's trademark single-camera cinematic combat, weighty mythological storytelling, and the next evolution of the engine that powered Ragnarök.
